How it all began...

My keen interest in emulsions began in 2012, when I was studying medicine in Germany. During my practical training at the Department of Dermatology, I was given invaluable instructions on how to combine diverse ingredients, both in medicinal ointments and medical cosmetics. As soon as I started experimenting, I found out that there are a few “secret" components, including natural oils, which always succeeded in relieving skin discomfort.

My personal experience with conventional cosmetics made me realise that it does not meet the needs of the skin, irrespective of its claims, fancy packaging or price. Even worse, the effect it has over the course of time is anything but desired. For that reason, I started searching for an alternative solution - natural skincare from the drug store or homemade product formulations from trusted people with knowledge in the field. The more I knew what I was looking for, the harder it got to find it. Thus, I started making my own skincare products, that I had been postponing for too long.

In the beginning, the products were tried out by a number of friends and relatives (no tests on animals:). Recipes had been undergoing several changes until the desired result was achieved. The second test phase was successfully carried out on a wider range of volunteers.

If you ask me, switching to natural cosmetics is the best thing I have ever done for my skin. I can truly see and feel the huge difference. However, the greater satisfaction comes from the fact that it is free from any ingredients with unknown and harmful effects on the body. Better late than too late!
